Fan Friday: Song Inspired By The Mortal Instruments

Every Friday here at TMI Source is Fan Friday, where we feature a fan who has demonstrated creativity and passion for Cassandra Clare, The Mortal Instruments or The Infernal Devices.

This week, we’re featuring a song written by a fan, Beth,  inspired by The Mortal Instruments.

And if you are a fan of TMI/TID/TDA and want your art to be published here, feel free to e-mail TMI Source with links to your artwork! And as always, don’t forget to check back next week for another Fan Friday :)

  4. Wow she can really sing! That was an amazing song

  5. There is a very nice timbre to her voice. It’s a little bit raw,yet very controlled. She sure can sing! As for the song, it’s great! I love it! It would so fit in a Mortal Instrument musical, which would be pretty awesome :) After all, they pulled of A Very Potter Musical, didn’t they?

  6. So great!!! It would be completely awesome if they had it on the soundtrack. It’s certainly good enough. Wow.

  7. Omg this is amazing! Thank you for sharing!

  11. Wow. Just wow. Beth, you have a really beautiful gift; not only to capture the essence of a book and turn it into a song and a piece of music, but your voice is just amazing. I was completely enthralled throughout the whole song. It really would be great if this song was published, and even greater if it was included int the City of Bones movie. Congratulations on creating such a beautiful piece of art.

  12. Holy crap!!!! That was beautiful and incredible!!!!! Idk who this girl is but if she was famous I’d download all her songs she rights on tmi/tid

  14. I should quit counting how many times I’ve played this. Nicely done!

  15. If only someone from Sony Pictures or Screen Gems (or any other TMI movie insider) could watch this and then record this and then make it the official movie soundtrack! Beth, your work is amazing, loved the song and your voice! This would be a great choice of song to play at the credits of the movie!

  16. That was awesome.

  17. I want to to thank you for this fantastic read!
! I certainly enjoyed every bit of it. I have you
