Sony Pictures unveiled the first Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (out Aug. 23) character photo in their “Week of Mortal Love” celebration after a day filled with four clues leading up to the reveal.

I knew it was simon all along. I hope the next character will be alec or magnus or jace or isabelle or clary.
Simon really looks like the geek boy he is in COB, very cute, hope the next one will be Magnus, cannot wait to see our Lord of Glitter all set to dazzle us mundanes.. ^^

Yeah I agree this pic looks awful bad lighting everything but Robbie looks alright atleast although why do his glasses look fake they look kinda like cgi anybody else?

Yeah, only his voice was in the trailer. I NEED to see what Magnus looks like!!!!!!!!!!! He’s only the most awesome warlock ever, in case you’ve never heard of him. Which I’m sure all of you have!😘
i love it! i’d thought it may be simon! i hope we get to see clary, and jace next! or izzy! and that we even get to see some couple shots1 he looks so good!

I don’t think we should complain. Sony didn’t have to do this for us. I’ve never seen any company do this kinda stuff in support for a movie. Yeah the photography isn’t the best. But then again I’m sure Sony is too smart to give us super gorgeous pictures that we could print ourselves. I’m sure they would prefer for us to buy whatever they are going to have for sale so they can make more $$$. So let’s just enjoy this and play along. I think it’s really fun and enjoy trying to use the clues to decipher which character it is!
