14. I would suggest the song “I wish” by One Direction. It describes word for word Will’s predicament with Tessa, wishing he had what Jem has with Tessa.

16. You should totally check out “Family Tradition” by Senses Fail. It describes perfectly how Sebastian feels about his relation to Valentine.

17. The song “We are young” from Fun can be for Sebastiaan who wants to Sset the world on fire (we are young so set the world on fire) or for Jace who are burning with Heavenly Fire.

    Heartbreak Coverup, by Jesse Labelle (It reminds me a lot of Will pretending to be drunk, and being even more lonely after hurting Tessa)
    
    It’s not over, by Chris Daughtry (I think it describes Will leaving his trying to leave his past behind him so he can be with Tessa)
    
    And I still stand by my previous comment of I wish, by One Direction being perfectly suited to the Will/Tessa/Jem predicament.

20. you should listen to Dark Side by kelly clarkson. I think ot relates to how jace felt anout clary when he is being controlled by sebastion in city of lost souls

21. I think the song Who Knew by Pink is Fitting for Will and Tessa, I always think of them when I hear it.

23. “Trying Not to Love You”, “Holding on to Heaven”, “I’d Come for you”, “Never Gonna be alone”, “Far Away”, and “Savin’ Me” all by Nickleback. If I didn’t know better I’d say that these guys wrote these songs specifically for Jace and Clary (and/or Will and Tessa):)

    ^^^ I hate everything about you- Three days Grace
    I think this song symbolizes when Maia see’s Jordan for the first time after being bitten and she’s really conflicted about her feelings for him. After all this time she hates Jordan because she thinks he turned her on purpose but, then it turns out to be wrong…. So then we see when there in the Apartment building (while Jace, Clary and Simon are on the roof with Lilith) and there’s that burst of light and Maia kisses Jordan it’s the first time she realizes she still loves him…. yet still hates him! yes, confusing… But true (:

28. I think “The Road I Must Travel” by Tom Morello and the Nighwatchmen would be good for Will, especially when he thinks he cannot let someone get close to him because of the curse that was put on him when he was just a boy.

29. I love the Johnny Cash version “Hurt” it reminds me a lot like Magnus. One bit of lyric says “Everyone I know, Goes away, in the end” and its Magnus right there!

    Another Johnny Cash “God’s gonna cut you down” reminds me of Valentine. “You can run on for a long time, Run on for a long time, run on for a long time, Sooner or later God’ll cut you down” That part reminds of how he will taken down in the end in City of Glass where Raziel kills (whos a bit of a god in shadowhunter’s eyes – in a way)

    Another verse of that song “He spoke to me in the voice so sweet, I thought, I heard the shuffle of the angel’s feet, He called my name and my heart stood still” says Valentine but in either Luke or Hodge’s point of view.

30. “Fall” by Justin Bieber… Okay i KNow it’s Bieber but I swear the lyrics super portray Simon’s love for Clary…

    Alive Again by Mariana’s Trench.
    I think this song does a really good job of describing Jem’s yin-fen addiction, in a way that is not totally obvious. Give it a listen

35. I think “Lovers in a Dangerous Time” by Bare Naked Ladies is a good one. I think it’s an awesome song, and it realtes really well to Jace and Clary during CoA and CoB, when they think they are siblings. Here are some lyrics:

36. I think that the song Because You Live, by Jesse McCartney, would be perfect for Jace and Clary, and Will and Tessa.
