CLOCKWORK PRINCESS book trailer to debut Thursday on Entertainment Weekly at 9 a.m. ET

Clockwork Princess

The Clockwork Princess book trailer will premiere Thursday at 9 a.m. ET on Entertainment Weekly (EW.com).

Cassandra Clare shared the news on Twitter on Tuesday:

Untitled

The trailer is being produced by Dirty Robber, the production company behind the previous Clockwork Prince and City of Lost Souls book trailers, and the girl on the Clockwork Princess cover will star as Tessa.

No word yet on exactly what time the trailer will debut, but stay tuned to TMIsource.com for details when they break.

Here’s what Clare told EW.com about Clockwork Princess in an interview last November:

It was really fun to write because it takes place all over England and Wales. I went to England and Wales and mapped out the routes the characters would take. Part of the reason I wanted to write The Infernal Devices is to have this huge love of the gothic romances of the Victorian era. I wanted to end it on that note. So there are mistaken identities. There is a headlong race on horseback across the countryside in the dead of night to rescue someone. And Tessa, of course, is torn between the two boys she loves.

Clockwork Princess is less than a month away from its March 19 release.

Fans can look forward to an interactive reading of the first chapter of Clockwork Princess next week, Clare shared earlier in the day.

Interactive first chapter of CLOCKWORK PRINCESS coming next week

Clockwork Princess

With Clockwork Princess less than a month away from release, the countdown to the final installment of the international bestselling The Infernal Devices begins.

Fans have already gotten an early glimpse at the Clockwork Princess prologue–via the new Shadowhunter app–and next week fans will get to read the first chapter. And it will be interactive (which sounds awesome)!

Cassandra Clare shared the news on Tumblr:

Next week they’ll be revealing the whole first chapter of Clockwork Princess — yep, not the prologue, which you already got (on the app, and if you search the clockwork-princess-prologue tag)  but the whole first chapter. It’s going to be interactive, and should be lots of fun. :)

A book trailer produced by Dirty Robber–the company behind both the Clockwork Prince and City of Lost Souls book trailers–is expected to be released sometime this week.

As for exactly when this week we’ll get the book trailer, Cassie had this to say:

Well, I never know specifically because usually what happens is they give the trailer to MTV or Entertainment Weekly and they kinda run it when they run it. But it’s supposed to be this week, if that helps.

With less than one month until the release of Clockwork Princess how are you feeling? Sound off in the comments!

‘City of Lost Souls’ Book Trailer Premiere

The highly anticipated book trailer for City of Lost Souls premiered on Entertainment Weekly late Wednesday morning.

Produced by Dirty Robber, the folks behind the Clockwork Prince book trailer, the trailer takes a dark look at Sebastian and his plans for City of Lost Souls.

>WATCH IT AT EW.COM

City of Lost Souls will be released on May 8th (less than three weeks now!).

Cassandra Clare wrote the script, which Dirty Robber used to create the trailer.

“My name is Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern. I had a father but he is dead. I have a mother but she is dead to me. I have a brother and I will bind him to me. I have a sister and I will teach her to love me. My name is Jonathan, but everyone calls me Sebastian. And I am going to burn down the world.”

Clare had this to say about the trailer:

In answer to a few questions: I didn’t know Sebastian was going to have a British accent till he opened his mouth in the trailer. I kind of like it though. I wrote the script for the trailer (text above) and Dirty Robber took it and created all the imagery. The girl wrapping the scarf around Seb’s neck is Clary.

A cool tidbit about the actor portraying Jace in the trailer: He is indeed the same guy on the City of Lost Souls cover and he will be making an appearance at Cassandra Clare’s book launch in Naperville, IL on May 8.

Also, Natalie C. Markey of TMI Examiner did an awesome interview with Dirty Robber and found out that the City of Lost Souls trailer will be featured on television. Details coming.

Cassandra Clare shared a behind-the-scenes photo onset of the City of Lost Souls book trailer.

Onset at the City of Lost Souls book trailer filmage. (Is filmage a word?) The director and the back of book-trailer Jace’s head. I don’t know who is playing Jace in the trailer, but he has nice hair. And a stylin’ sweater. Which fits, as City of Lost Souls Jace has fancier clothes than previous Jace.

The trailer is being produced by Dirty Robber, who made the Clockwork Prince trailer, and is expected to be released in late April.

City of Lost Souls will be released May 8th.
