They’ve probably put the word out to agents already. Casting confirmations will come out around the end of August or beginning of September.

When do auditions for the other movies, like CoFA and CoLS start? I realize probaby not until the filming for CoA is almost over, but still.
Where is the set? I missed my chance last year because I wasn’t in the city? And do you know any other places where they will be filming? Do you also know any sites that give info like that?

I have been trying to audition for Maia’s role for almost a year now (just to get my name and face out there) but with casting calls in Toronto and me in America, there’s apparently a law prohibiting auditioning out the country. My odds may be a million to one but dammit, I have wanted this too long to give up on a technicality. New talent is discovered everyday and everyday people can show their raw talent if one person believes in them. All I need is one chance to prove myself and make my fellow fans proud to see me represent one of the most bad ass werewolf girls ever. I already have audition videos I’ve made months ago and I still am trying my .damnedest. I refuse to give up
Don’t. Ever. Give. Up. Try and try again. I wanted to try for Maia too but I don’t resemble her enough black curly hair/light brown skin but I believe in you! Get in contact with an agent then the agent will receive notice on the auditions! I would be so proud if you tried out! Tell me how it goes. But getting an agent is the best option or talking to the casting director via email or twitter 🙂

And absolutly get an agent. That will let casting directors know that you’re serious. They typically don’t do open casting for big studio movies like this. Can you imagine the thousands of auditions they’d have to sit through just to see three or four serious contenders? So get that agent, let them know you’re passionate about acting and this project, and they’ll get you in to see the right people to get your dream role

I fit the werewolf or vampire role, I can grow a beard in 4-5 days but when i shave it is baby smooth and no shadow till next day or very late in the day. I am muscular but not overly not overly skinny and not fat. My voice is husky and deep but I can also make it high pitched and my laugh is husky and rough. It has always been my dream to be an actor and I am in love with mortal instruments. If i got a role in this movie it would truly be a dream come true.
