I was hopeful that this book would follow CP2, we all thought that there would be these huge deaths in it and it would be incredably sad but it all worked out perfectly. I thought this would be the same but how can it if we will lose six characters? She said six characters we know by name so chances are we won’t like them all but lets face it someone we love is going to die and I have a feeling its going to be Magnus.

Ok, so six of our main characters will die in CoHF. It can’t be Clary or Jace! It just can’t! Seriously, they deserve to save the world and live happily ever after… Here’s my list of who’s going to die, maybe: Magnus or Alec, Simon, Maia or Jordan, Jonathan Morgenstern, Jocelyn or Luke, Maryse or Robert.
Maybe if somebody does die, they can be brought back to life by the Angel. I think there’s supposed to be angels in this book. It just can’t be Jace or Clary that dies or both:( they’re the ones to save the world. I think it will be Clary that kills Jonathan for good. She may get hurt in the process but she won’t die…

I don’t think it’s magnus bc he’s in the epilogue of cp2 which I thought was after cohf. Tessa said she saw him. Maybe it’s people like mayrse and robert, and some wolves we know, blackthorns parents, etc…Maybe not all main characters. Not saying no main characters are going to see their demise but maybe it won’t be all of them.

In the resume of ”The Dark Artifices” that the surviving characters from TMI cycle will appear in cameos. They will be in their early twenties so you’ll get to see what they’re up to in their more adult lives.

I don’t think it’s going to end like CP2 because most of those characters needed to live to continue on the series next generation but since this current generation is not really need in the spinoff. Great, so does that mean that even if Alec and Magnus survive, they are going to stay seperated?! 😦 I hate this! I used to look forward to all of the books, but now, I just want to get it over with, there is no fun left in it for me, because I am sure Cassandra Clare is going to ruin this series by killing of Alec and/or Magnus or other beloved characters. Why bother spending so much time writing about characters and making readers become attached to them, when in they end they are going to die anyway?! I know this sounds bitter and I certainly don’t want to be mean, after all Clare has all the right in the world to finish her books the way she wants to be, all I’m saying is that as a huge fan of the books (and a Malec obsessive) I am really not looking forward to CoHF anymore and feel deeply disappointed already … Well, more room on my book shelves, when I put away the books in May …

So what if the hints that Jace and Clary are really related are true? the Herondale star birthmark they both have as does Jocelyn.. does this mean Clace are over? If Jace dies I will riot.
where do you get they both have the Herondale birth mark? It is clearly stated who Clary’s parents are, and more or less who Jace’s parents are.
The reason they have the same mark is because they both have seen an angel! It clearly stated that in the books! & it has been clearly stated whom the parents were to Clary…
Ok…6 characters will die (period! no discount!). But Cassie didn’t give us clues as to whether the 6 characters are ‘good guys’ or ‘bad guys’. Meaning? could be 6 bad guys who die (yes) or 6 good guys who die (oh no) or 50:50. My prediction (99%) between 6 characters must be Jonathan and the remaining 5 characters…I don’t even want to think about.
Those who (in my opinion) survive: Jem & Tessa (who already read Clockwork Princess certainly understand) Magnus & Simon (Warlock & vampire).
Next…characters who shouldn’t die:
Jace…why him? if he is ‘dead’ then ended the Herondale generation (no next generation, no descendant)…by the Angel
Clary…why her? it’s simple, because she is main character of six book, the heroine
So, I don’t even want to know or think or feel if both of them die…one by one or together. If so…(damn), it means the final book is final tragedy, final closure, final fate and destiny…for them.

My opinion is that Jace will become an Angel instead of Raziel.
Clary was dreaming about Jace with Angel wings so many times and she saw bright light around him often…I am very afraid it means that with the heavely fire inside of him, Jace will sacrifice himself to destroy the demons at the end. Just like Tessa before, he will stay in fire too and the only way to survive is becoming an Angel.
I think Sebastian will kill Raziel somehow and now Jace will become the Angel the shadow hunters can call for help in the future. Jem become a Silent Brother and Jace will become an Angel..:(((

Okay, I think Magnus dies trying to save Alec, because I read a teaser talking about how Magnus’s rattling breath and he said his fathers name. I cant wait much longer. I love the cover by the way! Its beautiful! But I need to know what happens or ima die.. O.o
All I have to say is that I hope Alec, Magnus, Simon and Rafael stay alive I just can’t deal with more of my favorite characters dying! I hope that last book isn’t focused to much on romance though because I kinda felt like City of Lost Souls had a bit to much romance. But that’s just my opinion.
