Cassandra Clare’s short story collection Ghosts of the Shadow Market, which she is co-writing with Sarah Rees Brennan, Maureen Johnson, Robin Wasserman and Kelly Link, is coming to an end this month, but readers still have the print edition with two additional stories to look forward to! 😀
First, though, let’s have a look at the cover that was shared in November’s Shadowhunter Army newsletter:
ETA: Cassie also shared the cover on her Instagram and briefly addressed the final two short stories:

The cover of GHOSTS OF THE SHADOW MARKET, coming JUNE FOURTH, 2019. The finished book will collect all the Ghosts of the Shadow Market stories published online as ebooks, plus two new stories, Forever Fallen and Ghosts of Old Loves, which I can't talk about yet since they spoil stuff in Queen of Air and Darkness. 🙂 Meanwhile Jem welcomes you to the gun show, I mean Shadow Market. Check out my stories for a cool detail from the cover. Art by Cliff Nielsen. #gotsm #tsc #tda #jemcarstairs
Doesn’t it look so cool? I love that we get to see Jem’s cane from the cover for Clockwork Prince again and the necklace he’s holding also seems familiar.
Cassie also revealed a really nice fact about Jem:
After Brother Zachariah was transformed by heavenly fire and returned to his life as Jem Carstairs, several regulars of the Shadow Market sent him an embroidered cloak with a note that said “You’ll always be our favorite Silent Brother.”
Ghosts of the Shadow Market will be published on June 4, 2019!
