Mr Bun Bun helps share a new ‘Chain of Thorns’ snippet 😉

Yesterday we were once again treated to snippets from Cassandra Clare’s Chain of Thorns and one snippet is pretty special because a) it’s a paragraph from the prologue and 2) it was shared by a bunny! The bunny in question is Mr Bun Bun, Cassie’s assistant’s pet. 🙂

Very cute, right? I think it was pretty clever to include an adorable animal because this part of the prologue is definitely worrying.

Later James could only remember the sound of the wind. A metallic scream, like a knife drawn across a shard of glass, and far below that the sound of howling, desperate and hungry.

He was walking along a long and trackless road: it seemed no one had come before him, for there were no marks on the ground. The sky above was equally blank. James could not have said if it was night or day, winter or summer. Only the bare brown land stretching before him, and the pavement-colored sky above.

We also got some Lucie and Jesse cuteness and I hope some one is going to create artwork for this snippet or maybe even the whole scene.
