There have been a lot of questions as to the special content that will be coming with City of Lost Souls (May 8, 2012), so I’ve decided to compile a master post as to where all the special editions can be purchased, as well as the special content included in them. SPECIAL CONTENT: In the United States Barnes and Noble: Contains a letter from Stephen Herondale (Jace’s real father) to Jace, which was written before he died. Much like Jace’s letter to Clary that came with City of Fallen Angels, it will be affixed to the back of the book and detachable. Walmart: Contains the short story “A Dark Transformation,” about how Jonathan Morgenstern took over the identity of Sebastian Verlac. Costco: Contains the short story “The Act of Falling,” also known as the Dirty Sexy Alley Scene from City of Fallen Angels in Jace’s perspective. Target: Contains the short story “A Question of Power,” in which Alec and Camille talk about Magnus and his father. In Canada: Indigo/Chapters: Contains a letter from Stephen Herondale (Jace’s real father) to Jace, which was written before he died.
