‘Mortal Instruments’ could begin filming as early as October
Filming for “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” could begin as early as October of this year, according to a French “Mortal Instruments” fan site.
We previously reported that Screen Gems was busy working around the schedules of leads Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower.
Now after some new information from TMI France, Cassandra Clare relayed that the studio is working around Bower’s schedule.
Principal photography for “City of Bones” could begin as early as October or November and as late as January.
This is dependent upon whether or not there is a second season of “Camelot,” which has yet to be announced.
Our Bower reporter, Brenda, revealed to us that one of the show’s main producers and screenwriters said before the first season aired that he wouldn’t be returning for a second season, if there were one. Of course, nothing is set in stone just yet.
If there is indeed a second season, contractually Bower will have to film “Camelot” before he begins filming “City of Bones,” which would begin production in January 2012.
Stay tuned for more information in regards to a possible second season of “Camelot.”
Filming could begin as early as four months from now. Who’s excited?!
