Last week executive producer Martin Moszkowicz told fans that THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES teaser trailer would likely be released with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, which hits theaters on Nov. 16.
Director Harald Zwart confirmed the news on his Tumblr Monday night:
Usually a trailer debuts online before it is released in theaters so we could get an announcement as early as this week about where the teaser trailer will debut (i.e. Yahoo! Movies, iTunes, etc.).
