In my opinion, they’re going to need to remake the first in order to do the rest

I LOVED the UK trailer of CoB I feel that they gave the people in the UK way more footage than the US even though we can still watch it
I don’t know why some critics (ok – one – Rope of Silicon) are underestimating this movie. I love the trailer and think it would pique interest in the film. I’m thrilled with what I’ve seen and am already planning my midnight screening 🙂
to be honest i think rope of silicon is being quite over analytical about it because the same scenario of tv shows could be applied to other movies which have done fantastically such as harry potter, lord of the rings if they were mde in present day would they be better as a show maybe but there is no guarantee ( not that i am saying this will be as big but it could be- we dont know)
however these movies did hve people hanging on for each year just to see it. if a movie is liked well enough and has enough support and encouragement(TMI FANS!!!! YEAH WE ARE AWESOME) odds are people will go to see it continually even if its just the people who dont want to read the book or feel that since they watched the first they have to watch the rest or it will be weird. Movies dont have to sooo good for people to get up and watch them or watch the sequel by what he is saying is focusing to soley on one type of audience.
im not trying to be horrid but movies such as like the hunger games which opened more people to things like the dystopian world or twilight (i don’t particularly like twilight but i will still pay to watch for reason unknown to me because it was in cinemas and maybe a bit of morbid curiosity) almost to an extent prove his point as invalid. right now i know the market actually craves for something like this it’s an opening of a sub section of YA urban fantasy and though its new its partially old think of the impact of buffy the vampire. it also has a larger demographic it is humorous and gender friendly so it will be an enjoyable experience for most.
but this all my opinion anyway. 😀 i might just be to emotionally invested in it but i honestly think it stands a fair chance by the looks of it and it shouldn’t be underestimated
I love the trailer. I’ve watched it over ten times. I think the part with the Institute was cool. I’m also glad there was new footage of Izzy. The movie is going to be great. I can’t wait. August 21 needs to come faster.

Eeekkkk!!! So excited this trailer was fab !! Some things we haven’t seen before and sequences fit perfectly with the music. I love the glamour lifting off the institute ..wow were so close now just can’t wait!!!

AGAIN IM NOT AT ALL DISAPPOINTED IT’S JUST SO PERFECT!! ;D The CGI looks amazing, and that is what could really make this movie awesome, and I feel so stupid for doubting any of the actors/casting! The only thing I’m a bit worried about is how it says ‘Coming Soon’ and there’s no actual date. What if this means us UK lot get it later than America? :3

i am a little disappointed in the casting because the lead actors don’t look anything like there described as in the book, and the marks in the movie are to bold in the books they are supposed to fade to look more silver after they wear off, i dunno i will watch it but i have a feeling in will be disapointed

Holy sh**! That is my definite favorite of all the trailers. They did really good with the make-up on the silent brothers it really made them scary… Im positive i felt a shiver run down my spine. Oh, and the vampires? They looked pretty cool too, i like how they portrayed them as creepy and not all fan girl…. Totally made my day!

This trailer is incredible. I’m from Australia though and they have not shown any of the trailers yet before any of the movies I’ve seen recently in the theaters. It’s really annoying because i really want to scream when it appears.
I’m from Australia too – they showed the trailer when I went to go see Beautiful creatues – and I can tell you me and my best friend had quite a freak out.. I heard the first chord and like started screaming.. so that was epic 😀
