‘City of Fallen Angels’ debuts at #2 on USA Today
“City of Fallen Angels,” the fourth installment of Cassandra Clare’s bestselling series “The Mortal Instruments,” has reached number two of USA Today‘s bestsellers list.
This marks the best debut for “The Mortal Instruments” to date on USA Today‘s list.
The highly anticipated YA novel was released on April 5 and has climbed to the top of the charts in its first week of release.
“City of Fallen Angels” was also reached #1 on The New York Times bestsellers list.
“The Mortal Instruments” is no stranger to the New York Times bestsellers list, as the previous three installments, “City of Bones,” “City of Ashes” and “City of Glass” have also graced the list for extended periods.
The hype for “City of Fallen Angels” even made the book a bestseller prior to its release, as it was on top of the pre-order list on places such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
Congratulations to Cassandra Clare for another honor to add to “The Mortal Instruments” collection. And thanks to the fans for helping make it a reality.
