‘City of Fallen Angels’ is #1 on ‘New York Times’ bestsellers list

“City of Fallen Angels,” the fourth installment of Cassandra Clare’s bestselling series “The Mortal Instruments,” reached number one of the New York Times bestsellers list.

The highly anticipated YA novel was released on April 5 and has climbed to the top of the charts in its first week of release.

“The Mortal Instruments” is no stranger to the New York Times bestsellers list, as the previous three installments, “City of Bones,” “City of Ashes” and “City of Glass” have also graced the list for extended periods.

The hype for “City of Fallen Angels” even made the book a bestseller prior to its release, as it was on top of the pre-order list on places such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
