Cassandra Clare shares ‘City of Lost Souls’ teaser

With the release of “City of Fallen Angels” and its debut at number one on the New York Times best sellers list, “The Mortal Instruments” author Cassandra Clare has been quite generous with sharing little exclusives from her upcoming books.

There has been Dirty Sexy Balcony Scene, a character Q&A, Dirty Sexy Club Scene and there surely more to keep on coming.

After a fan asked Clare via Twitter if she could provide a teaser for “City of Lost Souls,” the forthcoming fifth installment of “The Mortal Instruments,” slated for a May 2012 release.

She obliged.

“Magnus made a soft, pleased sound, and he gripped the back of Alec’s shirt.”

Suddenly 12.5 months seems quite far away (as if it hadn’t already).
