E!Online weighs in on the Jamie Campbell Bower casting
Ted Casablanca of E!Online weighed in on the Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace casting in The Mortal Instruments.
I think we can all agree that the apparent “Jace casting controversy” is behind us, for the most part.
But for the record, he’s totally Team Jamie.

Answer: If all Jace did in the movie was stand there and look pretty, I’d have to agree with you. But since Jace has some serious emotional problems he needs to deal with, like falling in love with who he thought is his sister, I’m not at all surprised that they opted for a different actor certifiably as gorgeous as Alex P. And it never hurts to have a Twilight man in your cast.”

They also forgot to point out that Pettyfer totally ditched the movie. Who would want an actor who didn’t care about the movie to take on one of the biggest roles in the film?

Me neither! But at least he’s firmly on Team Jamie! And he’s right, Jace is a complicated role which demands someone who can actually act, and Jamie can!
