Tune Tuesday: ‘Building a Mystery’ by Sarah McLachlan

Every Tuesday here at The Mortal Instruments Source is Tune Tuesday,  where we share a song that relates to The Mortal Instruments or The Infernal Devices. This week's song is a fan suggestion from Jenni Allen, who you might recognize for her amazing Mortal Instruments YouTube videos, and it is titled "Building a Mystery" by Sarah McLachlan.

"It's an old song, but the moment I heard it I just knew it was Jace's song," she said. "Especially the lyrics: 'You come out at night, that's when the energy comes.  And the dark sides light, and the vampires roam.'...'You live in a church where you sleep with voodoo dolls.  And you won't give up the search for the ghosts in the halls' and 'You're a beautiful, a beautiful fucked up man.  But so careful when I'm in your arms.' It's as if it's written for him.  I'm now learning how to make videos specifically so that I can make a Jace/Clary video to it!"
