Cassandra Clare named ‘Author of the Year,’ ‘Clockwork Prince’ named ‘Book of the Year’ by Hypable

Hypable has named Cassandra Clare ‘Author of the Year’ in its end of the year polls.

‘Clockwork Prince’ also nabbed honors for the ‘Book of the Year’ of 2011.

Clare penned two bestsellers in 2011; ‘City of Fallen Angels,’ the fourth installment of ‘The Mortal Instruments,’ in April and the aforementioned ‘Clockwork Prince,’ the second installment of ‘The Infernal Devices,’ in December.

Congrats to Cassie on the honors and a wonderful year. He’s to even better things in 2012.
