Saundra Coller Shares Possible Isabelle Audition Piece
As promised, Saundra Coller, who portrayed Isabelle Lightwood in the City of Fallen Angels book trailer, has shared her possible audition piece for the film adaptation of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
Coller said she “filmed it today especially for you all” and confirmed that auditions for Isabelle have not yet begun.
What do you think? And be nice.

no a good actress! And not the right look.
NOT*
That was garbage 😦
I actually really liked it! She’s an awesome actress and looks the part. To everyone trashing her: It takes guts to do what she’s doing. She doesn’t need you guys bringing her down!
I think she looks the part, but she isn’t that great of an actress.
GUess what people? It’s never going to match up to what you have in your mind. That’s why it’s personally kind of hard to match up the right actor to a character. I agree with Ali.
When you see the characters in your mind as you read the novel, for maybe the third time, you have a picture in your head about how this character looks and sounds. I’m sure this woman would fit a different role and do a great job of portraying that character. Isabelle Lightwood, is tough, she is not going to show you her soft side. She will look you dead in the eye, and say what she has to say and move on. If Isabelle loses control and let’s her soft side show, she will reel it in. She is beautiful and she knows this, but she uses this knowledge like a tool to accomplish certain goals. Isabelle is also a bit empty in side, she wants to feel love and to give it, but she fears that more than fighting demons…This is what her fans want to see.
well that was shit….
she cant even act, its too fake
It says to be nice; so I will be: Um… She was not the best Isabelle to be found. There are so many other Isabelle’s. In my mind Ashley Greene is the best Isabelle. Saundra Coller loks WAY too old to portray Isabelle. I’m not a hater; but since The Mortal Instruments is going to be the next big thing, they should DEFINITELY choose somebody better. I dont feel the ssame emotions that I felt when I read the books. When I read the books, I was practically crying at this part. But now I can’t bring myself to cry or even feel sad. Isabelle is someone that needs to portray emotions well as she has a variety of roles.
P.S. Saundra Coller is not pretty enough for Isabelle.
Isabelle catches everyone’s attention. But Saundra …. well… um…. No Comments
good on her for posting a video and trying! but i don’t really see her as isabelle… she wasn’t really getting into the character and didn’t act isabelley enough… isabelley… i’m going with it…. but yeah i’d rather see an actual discovered actress who has experience and looks the part and gets into the part like Odette Yustman or Kaya Scodelario 🙂 one of those girls is how i picture isabelle, (but if Vampire Academy movies are made then Odette HAS to be Rose, so i’ll be happy with Kaya 🙂 either one) hahahaha good job though to Saundra but I don’t think she is suited to the part
I completely agree with Pamela…Good for Saundra for giving it a go but unfortunately she clearly doesn’t have what it takes to be an actress of that calibre… I do wish her luck with her future acting projects though.:)
I hope that with the help of Cassie’s brilliant guidance and input, the studio will soon find someone fantastic we can all just have one look at and go “Yes, this girl is our Izzy, inside and out!!!” I’m so looking forward to that moment 🙂
WHAT !? Why cant i see the video, its says that the video has been removed by its user… 😦
“Yes, this girl is our Izzy, inside and out!!!”
That’s exactly how I felt when I looked up Odette Yustman. She just looks EXACTLY like I pictured Isabelle. But I have never seen her act.
BTW I can’t see the video either.
i can’t see it this sucks crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She needs to calm down. High-pitched squealing while standing with your hip popped to the side and a disgusted look on your face isn’t, according to what seems to be popular belief, good acting. I’m sure she’ll get there eventually with more training, but this is too forced and nowhere near genuine enough to be ready for such an anticipated movie.
