Championship Round: Vote ‘Mortal Instruments’ for Hollywood’s next book-to-movie superfranchise

The Mortal Instruments won the “Harry Potter” Division and has made it to the championship round, where it is going head-to-head vs. Vampire Academy.

“Mortal Instruments” — This supernatural mystery already has a key ingredient to big box-office: a thriving fan base. Four books have been published, with two more promised. Screen Gems is reportedly developing a movie version, with Harald Zwart set to direct and Lily Collins as the girl who uncovers strange secrets about her bloodlines.
