Casting news getting closer?
It’s been nearly a year since Jamie Campbell Bower was cast as Jace on May 31, and fans are eager as ever to learn who will portray the remaining cast of beloved characters in the film adaptation of ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.’
But the good news is that casting news isn’t that far away.
According to fans that attended Cassandra Clare’s signing in London on Saturday, Clare revealed that Lily Collins (Clary) was testing with actors for Simon last week and that this week she would be testing with actors up for the role of Magnus.
Collins and Bower remain the only two official cast members.
With filming scheduled to begin in just over two months from now (on August 15, in Toronto), a full cast really isn’t that far away.

It’s been rumoured that Adelaide Kane has been cast as Isabelle.
Adelaide Kane is really beautiful and looks-wise I like her for Isabelle even though I don’t know much about her or her acting abilities.
Gosh, I can’t believe it’s been a year since Cassie was here in Melbourne and we were going crazy with happiness over Jamie being cast! What seemed like a dream back then is now reality! Remember how “cautiously optimistic” Cassie used to be when we asked about weather she thought the movie will ever get made, lol? 😀
