‘City of Bones’ starts filming in 75 days
In less than three months, Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower and a group of yet-to-be-named actors will head to Toronto to begin filming on the highly-anticipated adaptation of ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.’
The countdown has reached 75 days and there is still a lot of news coming before the movie starts shooting, including those yet-to-be-named actors for the remaining roles.
There are numerous casting rumors for several key roles, including Simon, Magnus and Isabelle, as well as news from Cassandra Clare about chemistry reads.
Last week, Lily Collins had screen tests with potential Simons and this week she will read with potential Magnus actors.
Chemistry reads are usually one of the final steps before a casting director makes their final decision, so casting news could happen at any time.

I hope that Shannon Kook would get the Magnus role. Me and my friends are totally rooting for him! :]

I’m looking forward to seeing who will play Alec!! I keep hearing rumours about a few British actors, but I can never be sure what is and isn’t complete cobbler!
Just glad Jamie is cast as Jace, wow a whole year, can’t wait!
