Sarah Rees Brennan teases Magnus actor’s identity

No two characters in the Mortal Instruments fandom are so heavily focused on in the movie process right now than Alec Lightwood and Magnus Bane.

Both have been cast and both, like their counterpart, identities remain secret right now.

Author Sarah Rees Brennan, a friend of Cassandra Clare, knows the identity of our mystery Magnus. And while she isn’t naming him, she is spillng some hints.

Obviously Brennan cannot reveal the actor’s identity, because that would get Clare in trouble and we certainly don’t want that now do we?

With The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones set to begin filming in less than a month, casting announcements should be plentiful in the next couple of weeks.
