Every Tuesday here at TMI Source is Tune Tuesday, where we share a song that relates to The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices or The Dark Artifices. This week’s Tune Tuesday comes from TMI Source reader Danniella. "It reminded me of Will," Danniella wrote.

“Wayfaring Stranger” by Ed Sheeran

Here are some memorable lyrics:
i am a poor, wayfaring Stranger traveling through this world alone there's no sickness, toil or danger

LYRICS

“Wayfaring Stranger” by Ed Sheeran

i am a poor, wayfaring Stranger
traveling through this world alone
there’s no sickness, toil or danger
In that bright land, to which i go
i’m going there to see my mother
i’m going there no more to roam
I’m only going over Jordan
I’m only going over home now

(Hey-ey-ey yeah…)

And i know dark clouds, will gather me
and I know my way, is rough and steep
and the beautiful fields lie just beyond me

and i know my way, is rough and steep
i’m going there to see my mother
and i’m going there no more to roam
I’m only going over Jordan
I’m only going over home now

cause i am a poor, wayfaring Stranger
traveling through this world alone
there’s no sickness, toil or danger
In that bright land, to which i go
i’m going there to see my mother
and i’m going there no more to roam
I’m only going over Jordan
I’m only going over home now

This song also reminded me of when Simon had the mark of Cain.

This is an old Appalachian folk song, so the lyrics aren’t original, but his rendition is pretty cool. Definitely reminds me of Simon’s “mark of Cain.”
