Kevin Zegers to star in indie thriller ‘The Curse of Downer’s Grove’

Kevin Zegers (Alec Lightwood) will begin shooting a new movie next month in The Curse of Downer’s Grove, which is being produced by Oren Segal, Jason Dubin and Chiara Trento.

Here’s the rundown from Variety:

Martini, who directed “Hick,” is helming from a script he co-wrote with Bret Easton Ellis, adapted from 2001’s Michael Hornburg novel. Story centers on a paranoid high school senior who’s worried about an apparent curse that takes the life of one student every year at the school.

The Curse of Downer’s Grove, which begins filming in Los Angeles in February, also stars Lucas Till and Aimee Teegarden.
