‘THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES’ trailer airs during Awkward
Shadowhunters who happened to be watching Awkward on MTV got a special treat during one of the show’s commercial breaks on Tuesday, June 11.
The full theatrical trailer for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, complete with new release date and “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. In theaters Aug. 21″ voiceover, appeared on MTV during the Awkward season finale.
Sony Pictures teased the preview earlier on Twitter:

This isn’t the first time the trailer has appeared on television. The trailer was first shown on the Supernatural season finale back in May and was shown just yesterday during Teen Wolf.

i’m so glad it’s getting so much air play. i don’t have the american version of mtv but that’s great! hopefully, canadian tv shows will start to air it soon!
