Jamie Campbell Bower to get a ‘MORTAL INSTRUMENTS’ tattoo

During the Q & A the Waterstones signing in London on July 4, Cassandra Clare told Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace) that our staffer Cat from TMI Source had a very important question for him.
Cat asked Jamie if he would be getting a Mortal Instruments tattoo like previously said. Jamie revealed that he will indeed be getting a Mortal Instruments tattoo — but it’s not a rune like you’d expect.
In fact, Jamie has decided to get a quote – “I am, after all, what you made me.” It will be on his back, but “not a tramp stamp.”
Originally he was going to get “To love is to destroy,” which is his favorite line, but decided against it because it was too dreary.
Shadowhunters, if you have or were to get a Mortal Instruments tattoo, what would you get? Would you get a quote like Jamie or a rune?

I would never get a real tattoo, but I really like the speak in tongues and parabatai runes. I also love all of the quotes in the books, but there are too many good ones to choose from!
I’d have some quote about Jace or Magnus or Will c;
The strength rune, and maybe the healing rune or agape love rune.
If i was getting a mortal instruments, i would get “to love is to destroy, and to be loved is to be destroyed – Jace Herondale”

If I should get a tattoo it would be on my shoulder and very very small, maybe the angelic power rune.. But I actually love the quote ‘you endure what is unbearable and you bear it. That is all’ by Magnus in CP2. I think it describes how I’ve gone through the bad stuff in my life (two of my classmates died during the last two years for example) and how we just have to live through it. 🙂

I would get “you endure what is unbearable and you bear it. That is all” by Magnus in CP2, i just think it’s perfect, or maybe a rune, i’m not sure.
Rune……probably Angelic Power or the Sight or Fearless or maybe the Mark of Cain cuz thats the only rune Simon has ever had/ will get. Anyways im totally undecided….maybe the rune that binds Jace and Sebastian/Jonathan together, I know people are gonna hate but i kind of feel bad for Sebastian/Jonathan. BTW: I love in City of Glass, after he kills Hodge, he starts saying a bunch of rude and mean crap to Jace, Clary, and Alec. When I first read that part I burst out laughing and my sister looked at me like I was crazy. Sooo yah 🙂
just the fact that Jamie’s favorite quote is “to love is to destroy” proves how perfect of a Jace he is. overly proud of our casting… but anyways, I’ve been wondering [and hoping] he still was getting one so rune or quote I think it’s awesome. But I’d want to either get a fearless rune or “all the stories are true” (I love it and it sums up the series and also I’m a storyteller soooo)
I doubt that I would ever get a tattoo, but if I did, it would be in honor of my husband, and likely wouldn’t happen unless for some reason he passed away (he’s a soldier) and then I would get either the rune for love or one half of the binding rune, but it would be in white to represent that it had been used.
I actually have a TMI tattoo, is the Fearless rune, it’s on my right wrist…
