‘MORTAL INSTRUMENTS’ mall tour: Los Angeles stop added
Cassandra Clare shared some exciting news regarding the Mortal Instruments mall tour.
An extra stop has been added in Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 13, the day after the world premiere of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Tuesday, August 13th from 2pm-4pm – LOS ANGELES
TMI event at The Americana at Brand – 889 Americana Way, Glendale CA 91210
Talent: Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers, director Harald Zwart and best-selling author, Cassandra ClareQ&A will be open to the public. To take part in the exclusive autograph signing with the cast, director and author, wristbands can be picked up on a first come, first serve basis at The Green starting at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 13th.
We’ll be there and we hope to see you there!

I don’t mean to sound ungrateful but can someone else do some promo. Lily and Jaime I understand as they are the main characters and Lily is the most relevant cast member but Cassandra isn’t even in the movie and Alec isn’t that important of a character in the CoB. Can we get Robbie or Aidan or Godfrey or Jemima or Lena or Jared or CCH or one of the actors playing Pangborn and Blackwell. Or I’d love to hear from the screenwriters, Jess Postigo and I. Marlene King about how they adapted the book to the screen.
At least Harald will make an appearance but they have so many likeable, charasmatic and good looking people involved with this movie so why aren’t they taking advantage of that and using them for promo too. When The Hunger Games was promoting even the irrleleant Tributes with barely any lines made some appearances. Some of the actors in TMI: CoB might not be that famous but they have small hardcore fanbases who could be interested in the movie. I think Sony has dropped the ball by not using them for promotion.
I completely agree with you. Also, why add an LA stop when everything really is happening there. Like the premiere and previous signings. There’s so many places in the states where they can go and where people are dying to meet the cast, yet they pick LA.

And yes, sorry but you do sound ungrateful, as a UK citizen, we got 2 signings and other countries are getting 0. USA is getting tons, you’re saying Alec is not a major role (except he is) well Pangborn and Blackwell are in it for, like, 30 seconds.

OMG!!!!!!! I am sooo excited for this. I know the premiere is in LA too but a mall tour is completely different.
Do we have to pay for the wristbands?

Where do we have to go to get the wristbands? Is there some kind of purchase required to get them?
BUT THAT’S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! IS THERE ANY WAY TO CHANGE IT TO ANOTHER DAY??? AFTER SCHOOL OR ON A WEEKEND?
Oh my gosh. Do we have to pay for wristbands? I know it’s first come first server, but they didn’t mention any prices. Also, for the autograph signing, do we bring posters or are they provided? I’m totally going, I live about 30 minutes away. And, as people are asking why it’s happening in LA, I don’t remember any previous signings other than Comic Con, which costs over 100 dollars and I wasn’t able to attend. The premiere is in Hollywood, and the tickets are not able to be purchased, only given away. So, I’m SO happy that there’s a mall tour in LA. THANK YOU PEOPLE. So excited.

Do you guys know where The Green is?
If they’re going to be in L.A. it would be fantastic if they stopped by in Arizona. It’s very close by, and there are so many TMI fans here. Normally this state gets over looked because L.A. Is so close by it’d be nice for them to come.
How early do you guys suggest getting there, in order to get a wristband?
