Shadowhunters! The winners of our Third Annual Shadowhunter Halloween Costume Contest have been chosen. Sorry it’s taken us so long to announce the winners, but our mundane lives got in our way. Thank you to everyone that entered and congrats to the winners!

Not only is the second place Jace extremely convincing, but he is extremely attractive too. He has a strong JACE look to him, he looks like a total bad ass but he has a hint of a mischievous smirk. I love it. Also check out the detail of the rune on his chest that links him to Jonathan Morgenstern, and notice how in the pic with him and Clary it is sliced some so that he can have a moment of mental clarity with her. Lastly, do notice that the guy’s real name is Elendriel, which sounds like the name of a star or the name of an Angel.

I’m sorry, but the first place isn’t deserved. It’s clear to see that most of the picture is photoshopped. Look at the contrast on some of the yes, the coloring doesn’t fit the rest of the picture. “Clary’s” hair is literally the same as on the original TMI screen poster, and the hand on the “Alec” character is obviously not real. Sorry, but I don’t think they should win at all.
