‘Lady Midnight’ Cover to Be Revealed on Friday at NYCC

While we’re still months away from the release of the first book of The Dark Artifices — Lady Midnight, coming March 8, 2016, but the excitement is just beginning.

While the cover reveal has been teased for awhile and later revealed to be happening sometime at New York Comic Con, we finally have exact details for its reveal.

Cassandra Clare has revealed exactly when the cover for Lady Midnight will make its debut at New York Comic Con. It’ll be revealed during her panel on Friday, Oct. 9, and it’ll be revealed by none other than Harry Shum Jr., who is playing Magnus in Shadowhunters!

Well, here we go! The cover of Lady Midnight will be revealed during my Friday, October 9th panel. It will be revealed by Harry Shum, Jr, Magnus Bane in the Shadowhunters TV show. Maybe he’ll do a dance? I don’t know myself, but I’m excited to have him there. He’ll reveal the cover, and it will of course later be posted online for everyone not at NYCC.

Emma! Emma needs to be on the cover! I want it to similar to the other covers in the Shadowhunter Chronicles, but also be somewhat different. So it can kind of carry on the theme but also vary between the series, like how TMI and TID both have people on their covers, but the style is very different
