Tune Tuesday: “Not Alone” by RED (w/ bonus ‘Clockwork Prince’ teaser)

Every Tuesday here at The Mortal Instruments Source is Tune Tuesday,  where we share a song that relates to The Mortal Instruments or The Infernal Devices. This week's song is "Not Alone" by RED and I think it's the perfect song to describe Will and Jem's relationship. Both boys are damaged--Will emotionally and Jem physically. They are what the other needs to keep on living. The two parabatai are extremely close in Clockwork Angel. Their relationship goes through a lot in Clockwork Prince and we see just how close they are–and just how far they would go for the other’s happiness even if it means the other’s unhappiness. Here is a Will and Jem teaser from Clockwork Prince; Tessa, Will and Jem discussing parabatai:

"It is like being married, isn't it," said Tessa placidly, "in the Catholic church. Like Henry the Eighth, he had to create a new religion just so he could escape from his vows."

"Till death do us part," said Will, his gaze still fixed on the countryside speeding past outside the window.

"Well, Will won't need to create a new religion just to be rid of me," said Jem. "He'll be free soon enough."
