Wrap party for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES held Saturday night
It’s hard to believe that in three days filming on THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES will wrap in Toronto.
Thanks to a couple of the crew members, Dawn Rivard and Karola Dirnberger, we know that the cast, crew and Cassandra Clare will be heading to a wrap party for the film tonight (Nov. 3).
UPDATE: Thanks to @Steve_s2001 we have some information about the wrap party.
@Steve_s2001: wrap party was at Club V in Toronto. Lily & Jamie were 1st to show up
Cassandra Clare showed up later b/c she had been signing for 7 hours
Jonathan Rhys Meyers & Lena Headey didn’t attend they already left town
there will be pics of Lily & Jamie online later today going to the wrap party
Jonathan left yesterday. While Lena left a few days before. That’s what Lily & Jaime told me

A teaser trailer is set to hit theaters shortly–most likely with Breaking Dawn Part 2, which opens on Nov. 16.
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES is slated for an August 23, 2013 theatrical release.

Im so sad cause i REALLY wanted to so see it all in person but couldnt (and i LIVE NEAR TORONTO!) so im REALLY GRATEFUL of TMI Source that they went and got all this info about whats going on set, what the actors are doing etc, so THANK YOU and im REALLY glad i found this website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀
same i wanted to go too, and I live in toronto but couldn’t.
I wouldn’t call it a party if Godfrey/Magnus isn’t there. My favourite thing has to be the Malec hands or the MTV exclusive. I’ll miss Cassie, Harald and Martins cryptic tweets.

I am going to miss so much the fresh and almost daily news, how am I suppose to survive that long?…I have already got some kind of tick that make me squeal each hour the word “trailer” like a maniac : (
Im so sad 😦 😦 I’m in Montreal and was hoping to get some time off work to go to Toronto. I got Jamie’s book: Everything You Wanted to Know About Jamie Campbell Bower and I would have loved for him to have signed it!!!! Sigh……………………. They better film City of Ashes in Toronto too and I am going to save my holiday time so that I can take my 2 weeks off and go. I would love to see Jamie in person!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
😥 its so sad that the filming was done in toronto. Plane tickets aren’t cheap for 14 yr olds living in aus to just whisk over there. Oh well i love it anyway and as long as the movie kicks butt it’s all good in my books 😉 (still would have been so much cooler if i got to see the cast and filming in person though)
I was at the signing for cassie yesterday and yes i was there for 7 hours as well, i was on one of the last groups but i had an amazing time! I would do anything for cassie b/c she is amazing!!!
Arg!!! I don’t want the cast to leave just yet. I was so looking forward to seeing them. Anyway the plus side is that the trailer will be coming out very soon. That’s the good side of things. 🙂
Wow, has time flown. It seems like just yesterday we were squeeing that August was finally here. LOL! Cant wait for images and trailer. I hope someone gets naughty and records the trailer at the movies. Mwahahaha…
