MORTAL INSTRUMENTS movie merchandise to hit stores in April?

Executive producer Martin Moszkowicz hinted that we could be seeing THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES merchandise as early as April.

When a fan asked Moszkowicz about when MORTAL INSTRUMENTS movie merchandise might hit stores he replied, “Hopefully April.”

Sony Pictures Consumer Products owns the licensing rights to THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS and will be releasing merchandise such as “apparel and accessories, gift and novelty items, beauty, mobile and social games, stationery, publishing, collectibles and housewares.”

Moszkowicz also said they are already working on the theatrical trailer for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES, which is likely to debut in either February or March.
