Almost a year ago, Clare had revealed that the book titles will refer to nobility titles and now we have our royal titles.

Hmmm… I’m guessing Lady Midnight is Emma, Prince of Shadows is Julian, but who is that last one? In a way it’s a lot like the Infernal devices. prince and princess

This is awesome. Cassie is creating a huge legacy with this franchise. A unique world, great characters and intricate stories. She now has three series’ all set in one world…its unprecedented really. So exciting.
I can’t wait till the next two books come out so I can read them. Yes, she has comfirmed that she will make a third series. But, there is a rumor that she will make a fourth one as well, Also, you can look at the first two series and say that there’s really three insteasd of just two.
I wonder who’s going to be on the covers, since there are so many characters? I guess it would be obvious to have Emma on the first cover and Julian on the second. This would kind of break tradition, since the previous series had the male lead on the first book. But it wouldn’t make sense if Julian was on a book called LADY midnight xd Maybe Christina is on the third book? Or most likely ‘The Queen of Air and Darkness’ herself, whoever that may be..?
I agree with you 100%. For the last book of who might be on it only time will tell. As we will need to wait till the last book comes out in 2015.
The Queen of Air and Darkness is Queen Mab the faerie queen of the seelie court. I think the series is going to be about the downworld faeries.
I really want to read these…like sooo want too. Although I don’t really like how she broke her streak about keeping titles the same. (City of Bones, City of Ashes) (Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince)
That is true Shayne. But, you have to remember that those are two different series all together. Each series has there own topic or repeating words in each titles for each series.

Sounds like the theme is the Higharche of royalty. Emma is Lady of midnight, of course. From what I’ve heard about Julien he is to sweet to be a prince of shadows. The Second title could be about the bad guy; Clockwork Prince is something Mortmain’s father called him. I have no Idea who the Queen is.
Is the third title supposed to be based off of queen Mahb?

I love Cassie she always knows how to kill me with interest. But glad because I got Clockwork Princess today and will get to see city of bones then get City of Heavenly Fire (I <3 Magnus) and then a in 2015 it comes out. I can't wait.
I think book 2 in this series Prince of Shadows involves the prince Clary mentioned she drew for a graphic story in City of Glass.
