Lily Collins (Clary) spoke with Women’s Wear Daily at the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris on March 6, where she briefly discussed The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Lily Collins is also navigating between independent movies and more commercial fare. This summer will see the release of “Stuck in Love,” co-starring Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly, and “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” in which she has the lead role.

“[It’s] based on a series on books, kind of like ‘The Hunger Games’ or ‘Twilight,’ so hopefully becoming like a new franchise,” said Collins, who as a result of intensive training boasted flexed thighs under her cute lampshade skirt. “I love dressing up girly and then I love kicking butt, you know?”

  1. She is such a beautiful girl and always looks immaculate, but why are her eyebrows so “out there”?! Their sheer volume completely takes attention away from her gorgeous eyes.

  3. I wish she had not compared TMI to Twilight and the Hunger Games, as it is quite different. The main thing they have in common is a female heroine, I guess.

    • She compared it to them as a teen franchise with a female heroine. The average person has no idea what TMI so unfortunately that is the only frame of reference she can refer it to in a quick interview. People always compare Twilight and Hunger Games and they aren’t at all the same except being teen franchises with a female heroine either.
