Chapters 14 & 18 really caught my eye.. I’m so excited and sad for this series to end! I have fallen completely in love with tessa, jem, will, charlotte and henry and everyone else!!! 🙂

Oh my dear God. This book is going to bring a lot of pain to the fans. If the tittles make us wanna cry ( especially PARABATAI ) IMAGINE READING THE WHOLE BOOK! I’m terrified!

I think Mortmain’s definitely going to crash the wedding in Chapter 19: Burning Gold.
Well now we know when Tessa dress (possibly) gets ruined. (19) I don’t think any chapter really caught my eye that Jem will die.
oh god i can’t wait but it’s going to be sad. i do hope tessa ends up with someone manily will even though it’s not forever. i hope jem does too

The last chapter title makes me feel stronger that Will is the one who dies (protecting either or both Jem and Tessa – The Measure of Love).
As for Jem, I stick to my original hunch of him becoming/being Brother Zachariah, who never lost his parabatai bond to Will (thus caring personally for Jace for being a Herondale).
Jem dying was so out there from the start and Cassie Clare would never root for the obvious outcome, I think.
I think that’s way earlier (most likely chapter 2) when Tessa was already in a gold wedding dress which she won’t be wearing at her wedding, since everyone saw her in it (according to Tessa’s own words) and they went after Benedict the Demon Worm (lol) so it can be ruined then, no?
OMG!! I’m really curious to see who she ends up with. But it kinda has to be will. If will doesn’t have a kid then how would jace have been born?!?! I waz kinda confused about the epilogue though. Present day??? I’m SOOOOO excited!!!!😄
Jordan, epilogue is titled “Present Day” because Tessa is immortal and we will find out what is happening with her now 🙂

Will is not going to die – what would be a purpose of his character – to be denied his true emotions and personality so that people he loves wont get hurt, and then when he finds a hope to be himself he will die? Jem will find his note (love letter) to Tessa that he put in A Tale of Two Cities and he will realize that they love one another and that Will wanted to sacrifice his love for Tessa for his happiness…. the fact that he is dying and have not much to offer to Tessa will make him to decide to become a Silent Brother – he loves being a Shadowhunter and this way he can still be part of them. How would Herondale bloodline continue if Will dies and how does a copy of A Tale of Two Cities end up in Jece’s hands … cheer up guys
“Will is not going to die – what would be a purpose of his character” – sorry, but that’s like saying that nobody in the whole world will ever die otherwise they had no purpose living life at all, whatsoever.
Tessa loves Jem. She loves Will too, but she would never choose Will over Jem. Will would never choose Tessa over the loyalty he has for Jem (even if it where Jem’s dying wish). If Jem or Tessa thought that by Jem dying he didn’t have “much” to offer her, they wouldn’t be getting married in the first place. It’s not the length of time that you spend with someone, it’s the quality of that time spent that counts. Otherwise terminally sick people would never ever be getting married or want to do anything with their lives besides lie around waiting to die.

The chapter ‘To lye and burn’ seems intereting, along with the chapter of ‘Parabatai’. Oh, I can’t wait for this book to come out. I’m getting so excited and so nervous, all at the same time.
I’m almost sick to my stomach because I am so damn excited. Although, I am pretty nervous as well. I so badly want this series to end happily!

Cecily will not end up with Jem; my money is on a Lightwood (hence Alec’s dark hair and blue eyes)
I don’t know, I have a seriously bad feeling that I will be left heartbroken over the outcome but I have also feel that though this is the last TID book the story will continue in the City of Heavenly Fire. I realise we all know that Tessa will turn up but I think we won’t get a real conclusion for the story of Tessa, Will and Jem until then. The two series have not only been written together but they have always been closely linked, when we find out something in one series it echoes in the other. I don’t know maybe I’m overthinking things again
Chapter 14 worries me. I’ve never cried while reading a book, but I suspect a chapter with the potential death of Jemmay just do me in. You know the saying: The Good Die Young.
Reading all of your comments made me realize that we’re all bracing ourselves for heartache. Im so excited yet afraid to read CwP.
