Re-shoots for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones are underway in Toronto and one lucky fan snapped photos with our leads Lily Collins (Clary) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace).
According to @Pamelapena,“the re-shoots involve werewolves and they’re in St. James cemetery.”
How great is it to see Lily and Jamie as Clary and Jace again?!

Lucky fans! I see Lily has on a “Clary wig”, as she cut her own hair since they finished filming in November.
That wig is awful! It’s twilight level horrible. What is wrong with extensions? There should be some clause where you can’t mess with your hair in a certain time period to allow for re-shoots. I hope they make the wig look better in the movie or no close ups of that nasty hairline. It is so fake looking. This seriously worries me. Scenes will flash between her real hair and this monstrosity. Ugh!
I agree. Why cant the budget extend to the hair and make up artists? It’s ridiculous. I think there should be at least one fan on the set at all times to stop stupid decisions from being made.
Agreed. Or at minimum a no haircut clause for a period if time for consistency.
It’s just a wig, there is no need to over react. it is not like the whole movie depends solely on her hair. I am sure they are doing the best they can.
I agree. When I watch the movie I will be concentrating on the person Clary, not her hair, or oh look her eye makeup is smudged on her left eye. I am going to be so busy watching the action that I will not even noticed anything minor like a hairline or makeup, etc.
sad thingi think it is not a wig i believe they do fake dyes and stuff like that. and i think that she is just leaving the trailer lol it dose look awful silly thoe.

Re Clayr’s hair – so what if it looks fake. I’m going to see the movie to see her acting and how she portrays Clary. I really don’t give a damn about her hairline. It wouldn’t be possible to have a no hair cut clause or changing hair colour clause as once actors/actresses are finished one movie, they go on to others and the next movie may call for them to have very short hair, or hair of a completely different colour. They will take other movie opportunities – that is their job. I’d love to have my pic taken with Jamie and I don’t care what he wears or what color his hair is!
A horrible wig can be distracting from a performance. Movies all the time have wigs that look natural. What is it with the people behind movies (Twilight for example), that can’t get a natural looking wig to save their lives. Sure other movies can come up for the actors, but then allow for a natural high quality wig that looks so fake; low quality is distracting.
I meant natural high quality wig that doesn’t look fake. And in the case of Lily, what has she been doing since filming stopped besides promo stuff for CoB?
High quality wigs can be quite expensive. I’m sure it would be considered an un-necessary expense when needed only for re-shoots that are done in 2 days. They could have possibly had the hair stylist fix it a bit better to make it look more natural.
I couldn’t agree more. NOTHING excuses a bad wig and it’s insulting to the fans of this series!

That’s all I am saying, I just hope it doesn’t turn into a Twilight fiasco, and it gets made to look more natural.
the wig is literally proably going to be in a few scences. i don’t think it would be that noticeable and it looks good! and if anything if it needed fixing, a hair stylist would have fixed it.
what are reshoots?
Sometimes when they edit the movie, some scenes either didn’t come out good enough, or sometimes they have to make minor changes so that they can make the movie flow better when they put it all together. When they initially shoot the movie, the scenes are not shot in order so sometimes when they come to put them in order after shooting is done, there may be little glitches that need to be re-filmed for the final cut of the movie.

the wig looks good guys and honestly I wish I could have gotten a pic! next time! seriosuly, they were at the muse concert wed! had I know n and saw them! I would have talked to them. and the wig is only going to be in there for a little bit, I don’t think anyone would notice. the reshoots may have been nesscary. lily and jamie look great as always! i’m sure next movie lly will likely redye hair and wear extensions
You know, this pic might have been taken after the shoot and Lily may have removed it and just replaced it quickly to take the pics. I’m sure they would make it nice and look just like her real hair during the shoot. But can we please not nit-pick on all these little details. We are just so very lucky that we are going to be able to see our beloved movie on the big screen with the most amazing actors! I’m sure when we actually watch the movie, no one will be able to pick out the scene(s) where Lily is wearing the wig.
soooooooooo excited for the movie to come out and i love that jamie and lily are playing jace and clary they both look perfect together!!! i already planned on what to wear when i watch the movie:)))
so jelly of them two i hope to meet them one day. would be a dream come true resulting in me fainting like a little girl. butt then maybe Jamie would catch me making me delusional kingmaker thinking it is really jace thus making me Clary so in some other universe i am clary! i guess…
