The list of Mortal Instruments: City of Bones merchandise keeps growing.

According to Venture Beat, PlayFirst, a San Francisco-based gaming company, is set to release a Mortal Instruments: City of Bones-inspired game.

Finally, DeMiroz teased a new title that ties into the upcoming Sony Motion Pictures film Mortal Instruments. That Twilight-like film, due out in August, has a slightly different audience than PlayFirst is accustomed to, so the developer plans to try a new genre for its adaptation.

The company will release further details about that title in the coming weeks.

PlayFirst has released games on varying outlets, including PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Facebook and consoles like the DS, Xbox and Wii.

Are you excited about the upcoming Mortal Instruments game? Stay tuned for more information as it’s released.

  1. I really wish people would stop comparing TMI to Twilight! Some of the scenarios in CofB really lend themselves to a video game format. I would love to blow me up some demons!

    • I agree but since these people obviously don’t read that much and obviously think that every YA series is LIKE Twilight makes them all idiots… I mean no offense or anything but Twilight I think didn’t even have a game series like HP or the Hunger Games… I think?! or at least not a very good one cuz I have never seen any advertisements for it

  2. The world will be a better place when oblivious media recognises that not many (infacy, hardly any) YA movie adaptations are similar to Twilight. Getting really tired of this shit. TMI has a range of different aspects that the company could take and transform into a game and I truly hope they choose the path that is open for both genders and all genres to enjoy.

  3. *Ignores how they are compairing it* I am SOO playing this game!

  4. I feel like nowadays anything that involves vampires or werewolves is compared to Twilight. PLEASE. STOP comparing The Mortal Instruments to Twilight.

  5. You guys! They are only saying its like Twilight because of the fan base……. Besides I say its a compliment that they think this movie is going to do reallllyy good! I know its nothing like twilight but come on.. Move on!

    • I personally like twilight stop the hate!!! If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all! But yes I don’t like tmi being compared to twilight

  9. Yes!!!!!

  10. Twilight is amazing! Well in my opinion and lots of others to. Please respect the twilight fan base. Just cause u don’t like it doesn’t mean you have to shove it in our faces. Can’t we all be nice to each other we have things in common we both love books, most likely. Please respect us. No hate please it can hurt a lot.
