New photos from ‘MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES’ illustrated movie companion
Thanks to Tumblr user ketimorningstar, we have a look at some new images from The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones courtesy of the Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Illustrated Movie Companion, which is set to go on sale July 9. Sounds like they’ve been released early is some places, along with the Shadowhunter’s Guide.

When I pre-ordered both of these from Amazon here in the UK a good while ago, the release date for both was given as August. I hope we get them earlier too!

Well judging by the pictures above I can tell one major change from the book to film adaption, Simon goes with Jace when he takes Clary back to the institute after she is attack by the demons in her apartment. Oh, and Alec is there. It seems to be that they but characters in scenes in the movie that were not originally there in the book. Not sure how to feel about it.
they added alec, isabelle and simon to the more clace scenes. the first one (i’m presuming) is jace wanting to draw an iratze to heal clary when alec is ggoing like ARE YOU CRAZY SHES A MUNDIE JACE!
adding them to scenes could be a good thing, hopefully anyways.
i never complain but isnt the reason jace and clary fall in love because they found out they could work together and that they were compatible alone without the others. this lessons the impact of their relationship
ohhh i get it, this is after they come back from the forsaken in her apartment after they see madame dorothea… it’s not the ravenor bit.. cause this is the institute
i love these stills and so they added simon too, maybe he meets up with them a bit earlier but still awesome!
