Rumor: Is ‘CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE’ set for May 6, 2014 release?
According to Simon & Schuster‘s official website, City of Heavenly Fire, the final installment of The Mortal Instruments, is set for a Tuesday, May 6, 2014 release.
The information is posted on Simon & Schuster‘s website listing the hardcover book for $21.99 and the audiobook for $39.99. According to the site, City of Heavenly Fire clocks in at 496 pages. This news isn’t confirmed.
UPDATE: Cassandra Clare addressed the City of Heavenly Fire release date on Twitter saying that it is not yet finalized.

There was confusion as to when the book would be released — other than Spring 2014 — when the official Shadowhunters app said it would be released March 1, 2014. In fact, it still says that, but that date wouldn’t line up anyway as it is a Saturday.

I absolutely agree. C’mon Cassie, at least give us something to work with here! If I have to wait longer for my questions to have answers, it means I’ll have longer to come up with the story myself, but so far, I have very few hints, and most of the inventing is up to me. I need some more snippets here! Oh and may=so far away 😦
