Event guidelines for ‘MORTAL INSTRUMENTS’ cast appearance at Mall of America on July 28
Shadowhunters! The event guidelines for the Mortal Instruments: City of Bones cast appearance at Mall of America on Sunday, July 28, have been released on the mall’s website.
Cassandra Clare and cast members Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower and Kevin Zegers will be in attendance.
There is no purchase necessary for the event, but you will need a wristband to get into the autograph line. Wristbands will begin to be distributed beginning at 11 AM and are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. So get to the mall early!
The Mall of American appearance will be on Sunday, July 28 from 1-3 PM at the Rotunda.

i wish i was in the states right now! i also wished they allowed photographs,
so there will in fact be other malls theyre going to and not just MOA right? is that confirmed? If not I am definitely willing to drive to Minnesota for it so I’m just wondering haha. Either way, this is exciting not only because fan events are fun and they’re nice enough to do autographs which doesn’t happen often at events like this but also because it means that the release is nearing and I cannot wait 🙂
It doesn’t say no photographs, it just says no “posed” photographs as they take too long to do. I personally hope there are lots of candids so those of us who cannot be there can see the dynamics . . .

Where is the MOA?
Mall of America is located in Bloomington, Minnesota. It’s south of Minneapolis/St. Paul. It’s really close to the airport.
I’ll email them about bringing your own books. I’ll post when I get an answer. I’m assuming it’s okay.
