  1. YES!!!!! XD XD XD XD XD XD XD

  2. This is very good, isn’t it?

  3. Thats great. Finally some good news and the movie still has to be released in some countries. This is great for the studio execs for the sequels and even better if it grosses more which I hope it does. The critics can stick that in their pipe and smoke it.

  4. Sweet! Still has more time in the theater since movies stay awhile! So this is pretty good!!

  5. Whoo-hoo! Only $10mil more~ But let’s get it over $60mil!

  6. 50 millions from 90… it’s a low number for two weeks but… let’s go! We can do this! I’ll see the movie for the first time tomorrow, and I’m so excited! (Sorry for my bad english, I’m from Spain).

5o million! That’s close to their budget! Fantastic ! Suck it critics! Well a lot if you. Hopefully they’ll reexamine the release time and use every form of marketing and media available and do it as often as they can!

  8. Yes!! So happy for this! We have to keep watching the movie

  9. Movie studios & investors are looking to make a profit, double the amount they put in. It is not a good sign when the movie in its 3rd week has barely reached what is had made, especially in terms of a creative work that could be a franchise. I think everything is up in the air despite what they are saying. I love the book series nonetheless.

    • This is their second week, actually XD not bad. Percy Jackson took a month to reach their budget.

      • My point was the movie did not fare well at the box office its first week as was expected, sadly. In general movies from Ya books lately have not been doing well for whatever reason. I hope for a COA movies and that they include more dialogue and character build. I felt COB was too focused on the action that for anyone who did not read the book it would be heard to keep up with it.

  10. Thats great! if it still hasn’t been released in some countries yet were doing well.

  11. I watched the movie twice. I loved the movie. Can’t can’t freaking wait untill they show us a picture from City of Ashes set.
    JUST SO FREAKING EXCITED. ASDFGHJKLPOIUYTREWQZXCVBNM.
    Crap.

  12. The profits from the video sales will be added as well when it’s released.

  13. It’s an awesome movie. I’ve seen it once in a regular theater and once in IMAX. IMAX was sooooooo great!!!! Jamie – larger than life – woohoo!!! I’m going back to see it again this coming weekend. I can’t get enough of it 🙂

  14. That’s great, but I’m just confused. According to Boxoffice Mojo, it has only made 33 million worldwide over the timespan that it has been released. Did it make 50 million in one weekend alone?

  15. I just really hope this is good enough for an Infernal Devices movie!

  16. on box office mojo it doesn’t say 50 mil

  17. I think the problem with this film was that it was too expensive for the fan base that the saga has (90 million? Too much). Next film (if they do CoA) should have an approximate budget from 75-80 million (counting the marketing). PS: The film was AMAZING! I bought the first book yesterday, and I hope it’s better.

  18. Just to break even they need to make 120-150 million dollars depending on promotion people.

  19. Guys calm down on Boxoffice.com they have updated it and their total is 51,225,559. Come on Shadow Hunters we can do this.Lets prove everyone wrong who says it’s a failure.
