Even on his honeymoon, Kevin Zegers is hard at work prepping for The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes, which is slated to begin filming in Toronto in the coming weeks.
His wife Jaime tweeted a photo of him reading and he responded:

D’aww. It’s so nice to see how dedicated the actors are to making the best TMI adaptations possible. I love them all to death. They’re just so great! And it’s such a breath of fresh air as compared to some actors. God, I love this cast… I’m more happy every day with who was chosen. I mean, when Kevin says he wants to be parabati with Jamie, you KNOW he’s the right person for the job:)
And on a completely unrelated note (I’m so sorry if I’m not supposed to put this here!), I was on Tumblr looking at Clace stuff, and came across this post http://aclockworkshadowhunter.tumblr.com/post/60286389509/omg-guys-i-went-to-see-city-of-bones-for-the. Apparently one theater cut the line where Hodge told Valentine to lie about Jace and Clary being siblings?! How the heck did this happen?! Have other theaters done this? Do you think the person on Tumblr’s mistaken, or…
LOL they cut it out?! XD Okay, that’s awesome, but I’m not sure if maybe it was the best idea? I mean, while I love that you don’t find out the truth until book 3, I understand completely why they put that line in. It’s a movie. Most people don’t get super invested in it from 2 hrs, whereas you read the book and by the time you find out they’re siblings at the end of the first one you’re SUPER invested and just really want to see how this is going to play out…
But with a movie audience it’s different. People react really badly to incest and it might inhibit other people from going to see it if they hear about it…but I’ve never heard of a theater doing that before!
They cut it in my COUNTRY !!! I went to see it a second time with my friend in a different cinema [I hadn’t heard it in the previous one] and I was focused on what they were saying and by the end I heard nothing!! This is so bad. They did that scene because people would be like ”OMG That movie was gross!” and ”WTF did I just watch?” and we don’t want that so they HAD to put that in the movie. Now that they cut the scene … OMG!
I want to see it! How will I be able to watch it??? ughh!!!
I think it would’ve been better if they had cut it out.. I watched the movie several times with different friends and my family and at the end I always said sth like: “Oww they’re siblings.. what the heck?” and they all said “I don’t think they are. Because Hodge said…” ..So now, nobody believes they’re siblings and everyone can imagine how it’ll end. And you can see on Game of Thrones, though there’s incest, people watch it. And I think it would’ve been more interesting for people, to know how the incest thing will go on, if they had done it really believable.
Don’t know.. that’s my opinion..
There isn’t Game of Thrones EVERYWHERE ya know. People don’t react good to incest. No. I don’t think it was a good idea to cut off the whole scene. Nope. It wasn’t.

I’m extremely proud of this movie and love it so much. I know some people who were complaining about they really didn’t explain a lot of stuff and I was like true however it isn’t strictly necessary to this movie and can be explained as the series progresses. I went with two people who haven’t read the books and they weren’t confused at all.
The movie was such a brilliant adaptation, the changes all made sense. We had a perfect cast, and a perfect movie, for some perfect books. This picture made me so happy, and I hope this is how the rest of the series will go, on and behind the screen – perfect.
As a fandom we are so incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated cast!! Who love there characters and this series as much as us!:D So Proud Of Them!!!
