WATCH: Trailer for ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ starring Aidan Turner

A new trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which stars our Luke Garroway, Aidan Turner, has been released today. The second installment of The Hobbit will be released on December 13.

Unfortunately, there’s only a tiny glimpse of Aidan – blink and you’ll miss it – but Tolkien fans will know that his character Kili is important in The Hobbit.

    Actually…I caught him (Kili) kicking an orc around 1:35. It only took about 10 watches to catch it, haha. Presumably he’s in group shots of the dwarves as well, but you’ll have to pause and look really closely to find him. (There are 13 of them. =P)
