‘Clockwork Princess’ named Best YA Novel of 2013 by YA Magazine
Young Adult Magazine counted down their list of the 10 Biggest and Best Young Adult Novels of 2013, and guess who came out at No. 1?
Clockwork Princess nabbed the top spot on a list that included Allegiant by Veronica Roth, The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead and The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, among others.
Clockwork Princess, the final installment of The Infernal Devices, debuted at No. 1 across all major bestsellers lists when it was released on March 19.
Congrats to Cassandra Clare!
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations, Cassie!
Clockwork Princess deserved this, honestly. It’s the best book that Cassandra Clare has ever written, when it actually had the potential of being the worst. LOL. But what Clare did with this, via the love triangle, and making Tessa stay true to Jem, having the politics of the Enclave in this so effectively, revealing Tessa’s history to be what it was, the ending where Tessa changes into the Clockowork Angel, the ending where we see everyone’s lives after the events of CP, Henry, Charlotte, Gideon, Gabriel, Sophie, Cecily (especially Cecily who I thought would be an annoying/bratty Mary-Sue at first), Jessamine’s death… All of this was bloody amazing, and was written well, to boot.
Congratulations, Cassie. You deserve it for this one:) I can only hope CoHF and all your future books will be as amazing as the amazing CP.
and I agree, this book as make me cry like a baby. The history and the characters really grow on you and I’m only in chapter 9
