the Alec quotes seem deeply emotional and serious while the Isabelle quotes make me want to laugh like a hyena is that weird?

I always felt Isabelle hid her emotions behind her wit and sarcasm. She’s an intriguing character that I fell Cassie hasn’t explored as much as the others. She’s a daughter of a jerk father, the daughter of bitter mother, and the sister to deeply conflicted brothers. She burdens so much, that’s why I’m so glad she’s with Simon. They’re oddly good for one another.

I like the fact that Alec seems to become more self cofident and a kind of leader. I mean, that was the reason for the break-up with Magnus. Everybody told him that Jace and Izzy were better Shadowhunters than he was. Probably Magnus was the first person who wanted him and not Jace or Izzy. Than Alec was avoided from some other Shadowhunters and Camille and the Queen told him that Magnus just like his pretty face.
The queen comment, definitely makes me think it is the Seelie Queen that betrays them
