Check out Lily Collins in new “Priest” clip

The next time you’ll see our Clary Fray, Lily Collins, will be as Lucy Pace in “Priest,” which is being distributed by Screen Gems and directed by Scott Charles Stewart, who is directing “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.”

Here is the storyline for “Priest,” as written by Screen Gems:

PRIEST, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, is set in an alternate world — one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (LILY) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend, a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.

Screen Gems released this clip which shows Lucy is a pretty dire situation.

I can’t help but think how much Lily resembles Clary in this clip, with the red hair, the knife and such. It’s making me more antsy to see “City of Bones” filming get underway, as well as to see “Priest” when it’s released.

Who’s going to see “Priest” when it’s released? (May 13 for the U.S.)
