Cassandra Clare teases fans with snippet of Malec scene

Surely no one has forgotten the promise that Cassandra Clare made to her fans about when her Twitter followers reach 30,000.

Fans voted and elected to have Clare share a Magnus and Alec hookup scene in “City of Ashes” also known as ‘how Alec got all those hickeys.’

Clare has surpassed 30,000 followers and is already hard at work on the Malec scene. But you know Cassie, she can’t help but tease us just a bit.

She posted a snippet from the Malec scene on Twitter on Sunday:

“I’ve known your family for hundreds of years.” Magnus’ eyes searched Alec’s face.

I speak for everyone I’m sure when I say we cannot wait to read this scene in its entirety.
