Would Cassandra Clare make a cameo in “Mortal Instruments” movie?
It’s become quite popular lately in book to film adaptations for authors tend to make small cameos in the movie.
Hollywood Crush got Cassandra Clare to spill the beans on whether or not she would consider making a cameo in “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.”
Vodpod videos no longer available.“Well, my friends Rachel Cohn and David Levithan—their book ‘Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist’ was made into a movie—and they are in the scene in the restaurant Veselka, you know, down on Ninth Street. It’s one of my favorite places in New York, so if I opted to be in a scene in the movie, I would kind of want to be in a crowd scene or something,” she said. “Maybe in Taki’s, the sort of magical restaurant they go to. Or some place where I have a feeling of bonding with that place in New York.”
Clare would definitely be up for it, though she’d prefer to stay in the background where she’s not front and center.
“I’d want to be in the background,” she said with a laugh. “Way in the background. I don’t want any speaking parts.”
