Should Jamie Campbell Bower sing on the ‘City of Bones’ soundtrack?
Jamie Campbell Bower is the lead singer in the British band "The Darling Buds."
Stacey O’Neale, of Young Adult Fantasy Guide, brought up an interesting and relevant question in regards to the City of Bones movie soundtrack.
Should our Jace, Jamie Campbell Bower, sing on the City of Bones soundtrack?
It’s not a random question, to say the least.
Bower has some experience singing for a movie. Starring alongside Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd, Bower’s character, Anthony, sang about a young woman he was crushing on, Johanna.
But it wasn’t just a one-time thing. Bower is the lead singer of the British band “The Darling Buds.” Check out them performing one of their songs, “Venice.”
I think it would be a great idea to have Jamie (and The Darling Buds) on the soundtrack. He’s got a great voice and the band has a real New York, indie rock sound that Cassandra Clare and Scott Charles Stewart are looking to add to the soundtrack.

I wouldn’t have a problem with that. He’s a good singer, IMO (even if that song from Sweeney Todd was awful). And Robert Pattinson sang on the Twilight soundtrack lol.
I say hells yes, I think it makes it that more personal and he has a pretty good voice. I think he would have a fun time with it as well. He will be playing the piano in the movie, so why not. ❤

He has an incredible voice and The Darling Buds are a good band. They have that indie sound that is very TMI so I think it would be amazing if Jamie and/or his band were asked to take part in the soundtrack.
